’95 Volvo 850 GLT: First day of cold weather and the car will not fire up even with a new battery

I have a Volvo 850 that I’ve had for about two years. The battery has been fine, up until today. I wanted to drive it to the store, but I got in and, lo and behold, the car wouldn’t fire up. The crank sounded weak so I figured it was just a dead battery. Well after dropping $100 on a new battery and dragging it a mile back to campus, I threw it in and hooked it up. The car cranks real nice but it just doesn’t fire up no matter what. Google says it’s a fuel pump issue but that doesn’t make any sense because I last drove the car on Sunday and it was completely fine.
