Swapped the 718 Cayman S for a Snake. Couldn’t be happier.

As Paul Zuckerman (from Spike Feresten podcast fame) put it when looking at my car, “I’m a Porsche guy, but if we wanted ‘neutral’, we’d go to Switzerland.”

The 718 Cayman S was a fabulous car, but the best way I can describe it is like a pair of studio headphones I bought once–extremely balanced and accurate, but as a result, boring.

The Shelby is like a boombox with the treble and bass cranked up–not entirely surgical in its accuracy, but incredibly fun and charismatic.

Edit: Before anyone asks, I didn’t opt for an R because I drive my cars hard in the canyons and less-than-ideal pavement, and the last thing I want to do is hamper my fun by worrying about the integrity of my wheels.
