[Q] Multiple comparison correction for contrast analysis

When conducting a contrasts analysis, is it still good practice to implement multiple comparison corrections when developing more than 1 contrast of the data? Or does the contrast analysis serve as the multiple comparison question?

For example, let’s say I have a 1×4 ANOVA: X ~ y1 + y2 + y3 + y4

And my interest are in comparing: y1:y2 y2:y4 y1:y3

Would I stop here or run an alpha correction?
