A negative term in the regression equation

Sorry for the question, but what does it mean?

Immagine I am doing a multiple regression with many different predictors, and the equation is like this:

Y = 32 +4.5a – 6 B -8c

(the predictors they are a, b and c)

What does it mean the ”minus” front the number 6 and 8? Does it mean that these predictors have a negative relationship with the explainatory variable and they are inversley correlated with the explainatory variable?
