Are there many differences in Statistics PhD programs housed in business schools vs. graduate arts & sciences schools?

I was searching PhD stats programs recently, and I noticed that there are many programs that are housed in business schools like Booth, Stern, and Wharton.

First, why are there programs that are in business schools? Why not keep it under art&sciences or engineering?

Second, are there any differences (in research topics, culture, post-grad opps, social life, etc.) between the programs in business schools compared to programs in graduate schools of arts and sciences?
