Converting continuous CDF to PDF?

Hello sub, Here’s what I’m stuck on: CDF(x) = 1/pi * arctan(x/2) + 1/2, for x in [0,1] I can apply the derivative pretty easily and obtain CDF`(x) = 2/(pi*(x2 + 4 )) = PDF(x) Unfortunately, I have no idea how to find the intervals for my newly found PDF.
