How much calculus and math do MS and PhD statisticians use in their actual jobs?

I really like the interpretative and creative/design aspects of statistics, but after doing research it appears that I have to take a shit ton of math in order to get an MS or PhD in stats. I’ve always hated calculus, but loved my stats courses. Is calculus and higher level just something you have to get through during your educational years? Or do you actually have to do a lot of math on the job? submitted by /u/greenpen123 [link] [comments]
