Anyone interested in contributing to open-source math textbooks?

I’m a fourth year undergrad studying math and I’m interested in pedagogy. I was looking around GitHub to see if there were any open-source math textbooks with a sizeable community but it doesn’t seem like there are any. Most open-source textbooks seem to be written by a few people. It seems to me that there is value to creating open-source textbooks with more contributors. Presumably with more people, the textbooks can be made substantially better. So I have a few questions:

  1. Do you think there is a need for something like this?
  2. Would you be willing to contribute?
